Handmade 1911 Miniature Tabletop Replica Bronze Cannon Commemorating the 1783 Treaty of Paris.  This commemorative replica cannon is in good condition with some small dings on the cannon.  I really don't know what this is, so bear with me!  Burned into the wood carriage on one side, written in fancy script it says "1783 Nance" (I'm assuming France), which is the year that the Treaty of Paris formally ended the American Revolutionary War.  On the other side in different (more crude script), burned into the wood carriage it says "Los Angles (their spelling) 1911".  It's some kind of military commemorative piece, whether it's for the Treaty of Paris or not, we'll never know.  Whatever, it's a beautiful miniature bronze cannon with a rich patina that measures 7 1/2" long & 1 1/2" at its widest.  The handmade wood carriage measures 7 3/4" long, 10 1/2" long including the barrel, 3 3/4" wide & 4 1/2" high.  It weighs 3 pounds.  The bronze cannon is attached to the wood with an ornate bronze bracket.  The cannon swivels up & down.  It's an incredible work of art & will surely please any military or folk art collector.
