Catechism of Outpost Duty 1907 US Cavalry Infantry Army Reconnaissance Guarding

Up for bid is this 184 page antique hardcover book, "Catechism of Outpost Duty" by Arthur L. Wagner.  The Table of Contents can be viewed in the 4th and 5th pics above.  There is a pull-out illustration of an Outpost Position in the back of the book.  The book is relatively small, measuring 6 by 4 1/2 inches.  There is some fairly minor edge and corner wear to the covers, as can be viewed in the 7th photo.  There is writing on the front cover--looks like a name, but I can't make it out.  The owner's name is written on the inside cover.  There is partial superficial separation to an upper portion of the first page from the body of the book (see last pic), but everything is tight and intact.  There is also some tiny chipping noted to the lower corners of several pages, which can be seen in second to last pic.
