RARE US Army Expert Rifleman badge. This was silver washed but 90% of the silver is gone, just remaining in the recesses. The top bar measures approximately 2" across. Separately affixed rifles as made by the Rock Island Arsenal until 1915. Pin back with the old "c" style catch. Shows wear, tarnish and a number of surface scratches. There are traces of silver wash in the recesses. You are buying the material pictured.
