A Franco Era Spanish War Cross; Breast Star - Multi-piece construction, silver gilt cross and enamels, 61 mm x 62 mm, intact enamels, light contact, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, Madrid maker marked on the inside lid, recessed medal bed, case also near extremely fine. Footnote: The War Cross was instituted on January 26, 1937 and amended in 1942.
