Description

Three 7" x 5" cabinet card photos (cabinet card: 10" x 8") of USS South Carolina BB-26, the U.S. Navy's first dreadnought battleship.
1) The
upper left photo in 1st listing photo shows the forecastle crashing down into a heavy sea.
2) The upper right photo shows the start of a boxing match at Cherbourg, France with French sailors sitting in front row seating.
3) The lower photo shows a smashed whaleboat hanging on its davits due to hurricane force weather.
All photo cards have notations on the reverse explaining the scenes.
